For a one-of-a-kind tour of the "Paris of the East," the "Presidential Bike Pack" package at The Portman Ritz-Carlton, Shanghai is extended with additional enhancements creating an unforgettable Shanghai experience.
The highlight of the package remains a unique city tour on General Manager Mark DeCocinis' motorcycle. Mr. DeCocinis reveals his favourite city spots, from a vantage point few tourists will ever experience, to sidecar passengers on his limited edition Chang Jiang 750cc motorcycle - a replica of the 1938 BMW R-71. Additionally, guests are seated on leather seats newly upholstered by renowned Italian designer Stefano Ricci; who has upholstered and designed the Lamborghini Diablo's interior with a range of unique features.
Other new package additions effective February 1 include:
- A police escort upon arrival through the city to the hotel.
- Unique Stefano Ricci leather jackets personally conceptualised and designed by the guests. Made to measure, the jackets can be personalised with a choice of colours, collars, buttons, zips and other accents to suit the guests' taste.

The Portman Suite features a contemporary Western design with refined timber finishes, modern Italian furnishings and a collection of contemporary Chinese art. Chinese art and artefacts in the Greenberg Suite reflect turn of the century Shanghai design with colonial references.
For a two-night stay, the "Presidential Bike Pack" is US$18,000 for two guests and US$6,000 for an additional guest. Subsequently, the stay is extended at US$2,500 per night for two guests and US$500 per night for the extra guest. The package is based on availability and rates are subject to 15 percent service charge.
